One of our clients has a position available for a KEY ACCOUNTS MANAGER position in JOHANNESBURG.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• 3 years direct Sales experience in a position as KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER, preferably in Manufacturing, Heavy Engineering / Industrial industries.
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Sales & Marketing Diploma
• Computer Literacy MS Office and SAP
MAIN DUTIES:
• Gain knowledge of the customers current environment, needs and competitor behaviour in the area relating to price and product
• Ask questions, establish what the customer’s needs are and what he expects from the company as his supplier
• Monthly comparison per customer – sales volume and profit (as well as compared with the previous year)
Market share increase - if the company reduces the price and do the additional volume, will it justify a reduction
Compare sales price and GP to other regions
Compare sales breakdown between different product lines and market segments, resellers vs shop fitters
• Take into account what the current competitor selling price in the market is
Look at giving discount on volume, payment terms depending on the customer profile, cash flow and needs (Set volume targets for resellers with an additional discount if monthly volumes are exceeded)
Look at total market consumption per product line , compare with the company’s current sales
Gain market info to see in what part of the market we are down and why – react accordingly
Increase sales to current customers , increase credit limits if necessary and focus on gaining new customers
SALARY PACKAGE:
• R38,000 + Company Car + Medical Aid + Provident Fund + Guaranteed 13th cheques + KPI Bonus
