Manufacture Supervisor / Production Supervisor – Parow, Cape Town

The successful candidate for this position needs to plan, organize, lead and control resources to meet the production schedule and to ensure smooth running of the Manufacture department.

Salary Very Negotiable + medical aid & pension

Minimum Requirement:
• Grade 12 including mathematics
• 5 Years’ experience in cosmetic/pharmaceutical/food manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of SYSPRO or a similar system
• Good understanding of a Quality Management System

Key Performance Areas:

• Inventory Management -
? Investigates and reports unresolved issues to the manager
? Plans and organises stock count by allocating resources
? Monitors and controls stock continuously by visual inspection.
• People Management-
? Plans daily labour output, time and machinery for weekly production plans
? Manages staff performance by continual evaluation of output
? Investigates deviations and initiates disciplinary action as per company procedures within the timelines
? Conducts performance appraisals and reviews annually
• Document Control-
? Ensures all documentation is completed and filed per expected standard
? Investigates, initiates and resolves AR’s
• Production & Planning-
? Executes production plan OTIF, utilizing available resources within overtime budget.
• Equipment Management-
? Ensures equipment is used as per procedure (fit for purpose) and monitors for breakdown/ maintenance action.
