BEng / BTech Metallurgy /Industrial Engineering / relevant field of study.
5 yrs’ expe in people leadership + management role.
MDP qualif an advantage.
Good computer skills + knowledge of relevant plant systems (eg PeopleSoft).
Exp managing budgets, contracts + ISO standards essential.
Strategic, decisive/ attentive leader.
Ability to coach, lead teams.
Manage relations with internal, external suppliers.
Must perform under pressure
Excellent negotiation, report-writing skills.
Setting, managing key performance indicators + IR/HR matters.
Plant operational management.
Operational design (job design, work organisation) & failure prevention/ recovery.
Optimising plant capacity, inventory & product flow.
Capacity planning & control of operations process.
Managing availability & efficiency of each process + inventory.
Purchasing planning & control.
