A leader in the clothing and textile industry is looking to add a Marker/Patternmaker and Grader Coordinator to their wonderful team of employees.
Reporting to the Merchandiser, you will be responsible for producing accurate markers utilising fabrics efficiently, producing accurate patterns with fit interpreted from customer specifications and design sketches provided and to grade master patterns to specified sizes on the system when needed.

Duties:

• Calculate marker breakdown
• Build markers and marker summary
• Effective fabric utilization
• Pattern making and grading
• Digitising
• Model specification
• Concept samples
• Training and development of team
• Staff management
• Technology development
• Health and safety
• Events management

Requirements:

• Matric with mathematics
• High numeracy and literacy skills
• 8 years’ experience pattern making experience
• 5 years’ experience in computerised marker making experience
• 5 years’ Gerber patternmaking and grading experience
• Attention to detail
• Good leadership skills
• Computer literate
