Our manufacturing Client, based in Alrode, urgently requires a solid and reliable mechanical fitter urgently.

Minimum Requirements

Head and shoulders photograph together with comprehensive CV
Matric/Grade 12 Certificate/Olifantsfontein Trade Test – Fitter and Turner
Excellent knowledge of the OHS procedures and regulations
Minimum of 4 years’ manufacturing experience
Contactable landline references – previous employment
Sound knowledge of Compressors, conveyors, pumps and hydraulic presses, lathes and milling machines
Ability to detect and analyse problems
Computer literate
Ability to work shifts
Police Clearance Certificate

Key Responsibilities

Carry out installations ensuring that they meet manufacturers and engineering standards
Modify and enhance plant and equipment meeting intended requirements
Analyse and speedily repair problems, minimizing downtime and breakdowns
Regularly check equipment according to standards to ensure reliability
Observance of the Occupational Health and Safety Act policies and regulations at all times
Excellent observation of safe working procedures and ensure that good housekeeping standards are adhered to
