Medical Technologies Sales Executive
We currently have a very exciting position for a Medical Sales Rep bases in the Western Cape to visit clients (Specialists, hospitals, etc.) to ensure that their work activities are supported and to ensure that the clients (doctors and hospitals) experience excellent outcomes by using value added and quality products and also by offering quick, friendly and respectful service

This challenging and exciting position provides professional services by travelling extensively across the country to Medical Specialists and Hospital staff.

As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for selling complex technical products and/or services. This would be a limited number of the company's products typically specializes in a single product or product line, and carries an overlay quota. Generally not account-assigned; called into accounts as opportunities are identified and may work with account-assigned Sales Account Managers to close sale.

Key performance areas

• Proven ability and aptitude;
• Theatre experience will be an advantage;
• Compiling lists of prospective customers and sales leads. Follow up as necessary
• Working with sales leaders and sales representatives to increase prospects and drive closure of opportunities
• Providing training to all sales team members on strategy and product offerings
• Making cold calls to potential customers where required
• Providing pricing strategy and insure pricing compliance for segment opportunities
• Estimating date of delivery to customer based on knowledge of the company's production and delivery schedules
• Forecasting orders and sales of assigned territory and submit monthly report
• Representing the company at trade association meetings to promote product and company

Education, Training and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Radiography / Medical / Technical Degree
• Sales qualification / Courses (Advantage)
• Clinical Experience as an MRI Radiographer (Advantage, Not needed)
• Min 2 -4 years selling experience of Medical / Surgical Equipment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent Negotiations and Influencing Skills
• Ability to engage with clients at CEO/CFO/COO level
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Able to travel
• Valid motor vehicle license

Desired Characteristics:

• Experience closing large, complex, strategic deals.
• Deep knowledge of various Medical and Surgical Equipment and products
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans language.
