What the person must be able to do:

This role is in the Automotive Manufacturer sector. All duties would take place in this context.

* Develop Calibration Plans for Plant
* Certification and Calibration of Instruments
* Configure INCA3D and import IGES Files from Customers
* Check components with Coordinate Measuring Machine
* Utilise CAD Drawings and Data to Configure Testing Equipment

Key Job Deliverables:

* Ensure Parts are Delivered According to Dimensional Spec
* Ensure Measurement Equipment is Calibrated and Certified
* Head Up Component Dimensional Measurement Function

Background work experience:

* 3 years Metrology
* 3 years Instrument Certification and Calibration
* 3 years INCA3D and IGES
* 3 years Coordinate Measuring Machines
* Qualification in Engineering or Physics
* Ability to Verify Geometry of Manufactured Components
* Deep understanding of geometric measurement, calibration and technologies
* Deep understanding of how to calibrate geometric measuring equipment
* Understanding of how to use INCA3D or equivalent and how to import IGES CAD files into it
* Understanding of how to setup and use Coordinate Measuring Machines
* Advantageous: Exposure to Plastic Parts
