A leading National Trailer Manufacturer of refrigerated and dry freight semi-trailers & truck bodies requires the services of a National Technical Manager to be based at their Head Office in Phoenix Industrial Park, Durban. The incumbent will be responsible for the Technical Department for the Group.

KPI’s:-
- Oversee Drawing Office and preparation of Job Sheets for Production.
- Manage Product Development, Testing and Improvement Projects, FEA etc.
- Oversee Quality Department in terms of ISO9001-2008
- Support the Sales and Customer service function by providing technical input.
- Facilitate preparation of accurate Bill of Materials for Purchasing and Stock Control.
- Ensure compliance with the Road Ordinances and SABS Standards.

KEY ATTRIBUTES
- 5-10 Years Technical Design experience at a Senior Level.
- Mechanical Engineering Qualification.
- Heavy Industry or Commercial Vehicle experience.
- Experience overseeing technical drawing team.
- Experience overseeing product development.
- Experience with 3D CAD Package.
- Good Communication Skills.
