NIGHT SHIFT MAINTENANCE FOREMAN (PRECAST/ CONCRETE), CLAYVILLE (MIDRAND), R400 – 500K + BENEFITS (MEDICAL + PROVIDENT + FUNERAL COVER + CELLPHONE & PETROL ALLOWANCE)

• This is a nightshift position, hours from 21H00 till 07H00.

• Grade 12 or relevant NQF4 equivalent.
• Relevant tertiary technical qualification
• 5 years experience in production environment
• Maintenance schedule & planning experience
• Must be computer literate;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills on all levels
• Health & Safety compliance knowledge
• JDE experience will be an advantage

Job Responsibilities:
1. Check visually the functioning of machinery
2. Identify machines or components to be repaired
3. Initiate stores requisitions
4. Identify and implement training in respect of machine repairs
5. Check that safety regulations conform to OHSA
6. Ensure maintenance scheduled is maintained and adhered to
7. Ensure that production can operate optimally with adequate machine availability
8. Ensure maintenance team is trained and equipped to deal with stoppages in the factory
9. Stock take is planned and levels are within the required target range
10. Efficient repairs and maintenance work, both preventative and scheduled
11. Ensure cost are within budget
