An exciting opportunity has become available at a well-established Fleet Management Company.

We are looking for a professional with proven expertise in Office Management and HR. A person who has strong decision making power, ability to negotiate and solve a problem quickly, accurately and efficiently. A solid track record of ensuring smooth running of day to day office and employee operations, while implementing effective strategies, is a necessity.

The candidate will be required to have the following skills relating to HR / IR:
• Good record keeping skills for all Employee files;
• Knowledge and experience of the Basic Conditions of Employment Act;
• Knowledge and experience of the Labour Relations Act;
• Dispute Resolution Skills & Ability to remain objective
• Knowledge of Disciplinary Hearings and experience as a Complainant on behalf of the Employer;
• Knowledge and experience with CCMA cases;
• Good listening and communication skills;
• Assist with Hiring, training and motivating staff;
• Act as liaison among employees and management;
• Prepare, process and forward employee leave etc. effectively
• Resolve employees’ internal conflicts and process their complaints
• Conduct regular staff meetings and orientations to implement new policies and procedures and for sharing of general information.
• Monitor performance of staff and provided counseling where necessary
• Generate daily and weekly reports of performance
• Assist with drafting and developing KPI’s for employees.
• Looking after Employee wellness.
• Ability to enforce discipline (issue warnings etc.)
• Ability to assist managers with Performance issues.
• Work closely with a Labour Law consultant.

The candidate will be required to have the following skills for the Office Management position.
• Coordinate and facilitate daily office activities to ensure smooth running of the office.
• Oversee maintenance of the office and repair of equipment
• Make travel arrangements for the executives
• Work closely with Executives.
• Manage all office lease contracts
• Develop a training program for employees (WSP)

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Gr.12
• Diploma or degree in Human Resource and/or Office Management.
• 5+ years experience as a HR and/or Office Manager.
• Drivers Licence

Salary
Depending on qualifications and experience, the salary will range between R30000-R40 000.
