Office Manager

Successfully established Engineering Consulting Firm based in the Northern Suburbs is seeking to employ a suitably experienced Office Manager.

Requirements:
• Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate.
• Relevant Tertiary Education will be beneficial.
• Minimum of 3 – 5 years similar experience in an Office Managerial role.
• Experience in working in an Architectural, Construction, Engineering or similar environment will be beneficial.
• Experience in dealing with the NHBRC will be highly advantageous.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
• Experience in Pastel Payroll will be beneficial.
• Ability to work well under pressure, accurately and proactively
• Valid driver’s licence with own reliable transport.

Key areas of performance:
• Ensure the efficient and professional running of reception.
• Identify and assist with the implementation of office system improvements.
• Payroll administration and processing.
• Assisting with the administration and liaison with the NHBRC.
• Assisting auditors with general bookkeeping and financial administrative tasks as required.
• Staff management and personnel administration.
• General office administrative and secretarial tasks.
• Any ad-hoc duties as and when required within the scope of the position.
