My client, a reputable industry leader in the supply chain trade has an exciting opportunity for Operations Admin Clerk to join their team

The main purpose of this position:
Provide a professional administrative support with regards to the technical processes of Operations on site.

Key Performance Areas:

The duties will include but will not be limited to:

• Responsible for administrating inputs on train recons, stockpiling and train movements.
• Overseeing and managing administrative and cleaning subordinates. Allocating tasks and responsibilities accordingly.
• Establishing and maintaining administrative processes and standards to ensure the effective and efficient administrative support.
• Archiving administrative records and maintaining files accordingly.
• Typing correspondence, reports, memos and other documents as requested by site management.
• Planning daily and weekly operational administrative activities by determining stockpiles figures and the amount of trains that have been
ordered as well as the train schedules.
• Liaising with the Site Manager, Operations Manager, Head of Operations, clients, stakeholders, service providers regarding operational
activities.
• Auditing the weighbridge waybill slips according to stock received. Ensure that the data captured is accurate and data integrity is maintained.
• Verifying, reconciling and updating stock levels data and forward information to the relevant parties upon request.
• Compiling and submitting daily reports regarding stockpiles.
• Compiling and send-out flash reports to all the relevant stakeholders.
• Responsible for releasing trains once all checks have been conducted and data has been verified.
• Responsible for the internal audit on all administrative aspects, functions and responsibilities.
• Provide leadership and coaching to administrative and cleaning support employees.


Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Admin qualification will be an advantage
• 4 – 6 years’ experience
• Extensive knowledge of office administrative procedures in a technical / site environment
• Understanding of operations procedures and objectives.
• Well-organised, ability to prioritise and manage time effectively
• Respectful and possess cross cultural awareness and sensitivity
• Demonstrate sound work ethics
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail oriented and sensitive to confidential information
• Good judgement and decision making skills
• The capacity to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
