They are expanding within South Africa and need a dynamic operations manager to be part of our team, reporting directly to the owner. You will form part of the leadership team including marketing, finance and HR. Your direct reports will be the Cape Town and Joburg retail managers, roasting production & quality control, the head of the barista academy and the wholesale manager.

Seeking a candidate with high levels of maturity, who is confident to operate independently and who can apply good judgement to complex situations. This role extends across both our wholesale and retail businesses and across our geographic areas of activity.

Job summary

We are looking for a professional, senior Operations Manager to plan, direct and coordinate all of our operations. You will be responsible for improving performance, accountability, productivity, efficiency and profitability through the implementation of effective methods and strategies.

Job requirements

•A minimum 3-year tertiary education
•A minimum of 6 to 8 years of professional experience, with at least 4 years in a management position.
•Proven experience as an operations manager.
•Deep experience in hospitality and hospitality management is a definite advantage.
•Familiarity with business and financial principles.
