Conduct desktop Outside Plant (OSP)optic fibre route, using ArcGIS/QGIS.
Prepare CCTV Maps for the CCTV survey teams to inspect the Sewer and Stormwater lines (the company installs it fibre in Sewer lines, Stormwater lines, Traditional Trench and Overhead).
Prepare detailed OSP project scope-of-work and compile aBill of Quantities (BOQ) for the new route build.
Generate executable files for project implementation and assist project leaders with any scope changes and variations during the project implantation phases.
Manage the planning of a route from order to executable file, providing updates to the Planning Manager
Compile As-Build route records for LA records and LA O&M teams.

Qualifications:
National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Light Current) majoring in Telecommunications.
Must be in possession of a driver’s license for a minimum of a light motor vehicle.
Experience:
Optical fibre network planning, route planningand FTTx / PON
Experience in implementation and project management of fibre network roll-out is also desirable.
1 - 5 years relevant network engineering experience in a telecoms
