We have an exciting vacancy for an experienced Executive Assistant to join our team in Johannesburg, on a permanent basis. As the Executive Assistant you will be supporting the Directors within the Johannesburg office as well as ad-hoc duties for Management in other office locations. As the assistant you will be providing extensive business support to the business and have a thorough understanding of the operations of a busy business. Integral to your role will include complex diary management, detailed domestic and international travel organisation, event planning, and meeting coordination including ordering catering, taking minutes, coordinating agendas and following up on action items. In addition you will be responsible for drafting email correspondence, developing presentations, compiling and distributing weekly news, monthly board and other corporate reports. In addition to demonstrated experience in a similar level role, you will be corporately presented and have the confidence and professional written and spoken communication skills which will allow you to interact and influence outcomes with a variety of stakeholders. With a proactive and energetic nature, you will be self-motivated and enjoy working autonomously and also as part of a team. Close attention to detail is essential, as is the ability to think laterally. To ensure your success you will have an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook, with a minimum typing speed of 70 words per minute with 95% accuracy.

As the Executive Assistant you will be responsible for:

- Providing project support to the senior management team
- Organising Visas for international travel
- Diary management via Outlook
- Screening calls / visitors and establishing order of importance
- Liaising with external and internal stakeholders
- Preparing presentation materials
- Act as a go to person in the Directors’ absence
- Building professional, strong and open relationships

To be successful in this role you will have:

- 5 years’ experience in an Executive Assistant position
