A Healthcare company based in Rustenburg is URGENTLY looking to appoint an Experienced Peadiatrician. The company has a vision to provide appropriate healthcare of high quality, cost efficiently, to the satisfaction of patients and stakeholders.

This position is open to Foreign Nationals who have are currently registered with HPCSA, Already poses a current work VISA, and whom have the right experience & qualifications.

Education, Training and Experience

• Degree in Paediatrics
• Registered at the HPCSA (Health Professions Council of South Africa) as a Paediatrician.
• 2 years’ experience
• Specialization in Pediatrics

• MBChB
• Diploma HIV management would be an advantage.
• Current registration with the HPCSA as a Medical Practitioner.
• A minimum of 3 years appropriate experience as Medical Officer after registration with the HPCSA as Medical Practitioner.
• Experience in managing HIV and TB patients
• Consult patients in the Paediatric HIV Clinic according to the roster
• Attend to queries regarding patient care by PHCNs as they arise; support and mentor them
• Attend to emergencies and difficult cases
Manage patients according to clinic management protocols or national and provincial guidelines

• Providing care from birth to early adulthood, pediatricians are concerned with the health of infants, children, and teenagers.
• specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of ailments specific to young people and track their patients’ growth to adulthood.

• Like most physicians, pediatricians work with different health care workers, such as nurses and other physicians, to assess and treat children with various ailments, such as muscular dystrophy.
• Most of the work of pediatricians, however, involves treating day-to-day illnesses that are common to children—minor injuries, infectious diseases, and immunizations—much as a general practitioner treats adults.
• Some pediatricians specialize in serious medical conditions and pediatric surgery, treating autoimmune disorders or serious chronic ailments.
