Pattern Cutter / Tailor – Fashion Boutique

Location: Muscat, Oman – must be willing to relocate
Salary: Negotiable

Opportunity available for a Pattern Cutter for a fashion boutique based in Muscat, Oman.

Requirements:
Diploma in Fashion Design or Pattern Making
3 years’ experience in cutting and in pattern making
Knows how to cut all kinds of dresses, jackets and pants.
Expert in doing haute couture.
Must understand textile characteristics and have a good sense of three-dimensional space
Excellent technical knowledge and skill in fabrics.

Duties:
Selecting the most appropriate fabrics.
Draw and cut out sets of patterns.
Appointing the appropriate tailor for the piece.
Actively responsible for quality control in the tailoring department.
Effective use of the material to ensure minimal wastage.
Working and achieving timely delivery of the dresses.
