Plant Manager

A Global company is recruiting for an experienced Plant Manager who can oversee operations based in SA.

Focus areas are – Manufacturing / Production, Quality, Logistics and Finance

Requirements:

A relevant Degree (i.e. Industrial / Production Management / Chemical)
MBA qualification highly advantageous
Extensive experience in plant operations / manufacturing management is required
Experience within foods industry advantageous
Strong financial / costing background
Ability to function on a strategic level
Excellent communication skills
Ability to travel internationally

Some responsibilities – not limited to:

Ensure smooth running of entire plant
Effectively manage labour requirements/manpower planning, production planning, stock management, plant modifications and develop innovative systems and processes utilising all available technology
Oversee Production, quality and logistics divisions
Management of manufacturing costs / Finance
Participating in business planning and budgeting processes
Ensure business objectives are met
Ensure safety and compliance processes are followed
