Job Spec:

General Administration of Procurement

Liaise with procurement manager on a daily basis regarding any
changes of pricing, order amendments, and cancelation of orders.
• Give feedback on a weekly basis on long overdue orders, and what
you have done to reduce the lead time on these orders.
• Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs.
• Research potential vendors, and get approval to use these vendors.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors,
quantities, discounts).
• Conduct market research to identify pricing trends.
• Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices
• Prepare cost analyses.
• Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders
• Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive in good
condition.
• Liaise with warehouse Manager when shipments are going to be
sent out to various mine sites.
• Maintain a good relationship between vendors and Hall core Drilling

General Administration of Logistics

Receive shipments and ensure both quality and quantity
• Trace, track and expedite purchase processes
• Create and maintain contact with vendors and customers to ensure
timely delivery of goods
• Interact with third party logistics service providers
• Audit freight cost and documentation
• Review bills, invoices and purchase orders
• Ensure all payments are processed in time
• Assist customers with inquiries
• Create packing lists and update shipment information in database
• Organize files both manually and electronically
• Monitor and facilitate repair orders
• Coordinate deliveries for repaired or returned items
• Ensure that the warehouse has sufficient space for incoming
deliveries
• Liaise with warehouse and ensure that all items are properly
numbered and tagged
• Dispose of unserviceable or damaged items

• Ensure accuracy of all inventories.
