We are currently looking for a sales coordinator/ procurement consultant to be based at Head Office in Green Point Cape Town. This will be a duel role position looking after sales coordination and procurement.

This individual must have experience dealing with overseas suppliers (East). Applicant must have necessary experience, knowledge and skills as sales coordinator and procurement consultant.
Ideal candidate must have good communication skills, time management skills, organizational skills, team player and be prepared to go the extra mile.
Start date asap.
Duties include:

Use info from customer and copy on to brief sheet(BS)
Receive Brief Sheet from merchandisers and get GADS approved.
Send Brief sheet to Chinese supplier and wait for cost (procurement)
Negotiate and confirm cost.
Follow up on official order from customer + follow up on tickets
Follow up on approval sample (record deadline on BS)
PON raised and added to order control sheet (cost control sheet) - All order and delivery from 1 July must be captured on order control sheet include QC, shipment cost, cost control, sample control and more.
Order pack loaded on to system
Create pick slips and sample pick slips
Scan and mail each order to order admin.
Follow up on wash care label and packaging
Compare shipment sample to approval sample
Send shipment sample to customer for approval
Send shipment sample to warehouse for QA
Send approval to supplier to confirm shipment date
Work out lead time
Confirm shipment date
Follow up with supplier if the order was shipped. Trade cloud reference a week later.
Follow up on arrival of bulk
Follow up until delivery at customer
