Position: Production Coordinator
Type: Permanent

Requirements:
• National Diploma in Production Management or related field (NQF5) or studying towards relevant qualification
• Minimum 3 years leadership experience within automotive manufacturing environment
• Familiar with machining and assembly environment
• Thorough understanding of current labour legislation
• Familiar with Problem Solving Techniques
• Computer literate
• Understanding of quality management principles and welding processes
• Knowledge in the operation and programming of Fanuc Robots

Responsibilities:
• Supervising, planning, organizing and controlling production output
• Advise and implement improvements pertaining to process flow, production output and effective utilization of employees
• Manage attendance and timekeeping
• Ensuring customer requirements and daily / monthly production and sales targets are met
• Manage operational cost with the emphasis on waste elimination must be able to do minor settings on robots
• Ensure safety, health, environmental and quality standards are adhered to
• Providing on the job training to all subordinates
