Position: Production Coordinator
Type: Permanent
Location: East London
Remuneration: Up to R300,000 per annum commensurate with experience and qualifications

Requirements:
• Knowledge of KTL and Aluwash process
• Able to work shifts
• At least 3 years leadership experience within an automotive manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of current labour legislation and best people leadership practices
• Excellent Problem-Solving Techniques
• NQF4 + Supervisory qualification or equivalent qualification / Studying towards a relevant qualification
• Understanding of quality management principles
• Familiar with machining and assembly environment
• Knowledge in quality management ISO/TS16949
• Good Computer literacy skills (Microsoft Excel & Word)

Responsibilities:

• Supervising, planning, organizing and controlling production output
• Ensure latest level of work instructions are being displayed on the floor
• Ensure product are being manufacture to the correct quality standard
• Manage attendance and timekeeping
• Ensure correct manning level for the production output required
• Providing on-the-job training to all subordinates
• Responsible for housekeeping in work area.
• Ensuring safety, health, environmental and quality standards are adhered to
• Report any unsafe equipment, working condition
• Ensure daily reporting of machine downtime/production records are done
• Control of consumables.
• Monitor, appraise, council and discipline employees in Department

Recent Head shot (Photograph) needs to be supplied
