What the person must be able to do:

This role is in the Defence electronics sector. All duties would take place in this context:

Strategy
* Drive production strategy
* Drive production optimisation and industrial engineering programme
* Drive quality and continuous improvement
* Drive production CAPEX enhancement programme
* Drive customer relationships and enhancement of delivery quality

Operations
* Drive Production Schedules
* Staff scheduling of both fixed and variable labour
* Run production
* Ensure quality and regularity processes are complied with
* Ensure quality kept within stringent mil-spec standards
* Examine production processes and continually improve
* Reduce wastage, losses and out-of box failures
* Manage raw materials and spares
* Staff management and motivation
* Financial management

Background work experience

* 15 years management production experience
* 5 years mechanical or electronics production experience

* Schedule optimisation
* Strongly ADV: Military mechanical or electronics production
