Transformer Windings
A large manufacturing concern is looking for a Production foreman to manage their windings department
The incumbent will be responsible for managing daily production issues, supervising personnel and ensuring that targets are met in line with Company procedures and specifications.
He/she will be accountable for but not limited to the following:
Quality objectives within own sections
Maintain health, safety, environmental and housekeeping standards
Develop and implement production plans
Implement and maintain short interval controls on production line
Implement Best Practices in the workplace
Meet planned production deadlines
Coach and motivate employees
Ensure discipline in the workplace
Grade 12 and a National Diploma Production Management/ Industrial/ Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering is a requirement. At least 2 years related experience in a manufacturing industry. The incumbent must be conversant in SAP and MS Office packages i.e. (MS Word and MS Excel). Previous supervisory experience is required. The ideal candidate must demonstrate sound interpersonal, communication and time management skills
