PRODUCTION MANAGER

Our client based in Cape Town is seeking a senior Production Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the Assembly Line.

Reports to - Factory Manager

QUALIFICATIONS:
Related National Diploma / Degree in Production Management / Engineering.
5+ Years’ experience in similar position
Solid leadership/supervisory experience essential.
Able to show full commitment to achieve deadlines.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:
Aid the Assembly Department Manager in production planning and control
Maintain and adhere to quality standards
Maintain stable production-delivery
Report daily on status of line activity
Ensure activity adherence maintained
Accountable for department budgets / cost savings
Manage time and attendance
Task assignment to Group Leaders (supervisors)
Achievement of health and safety standards
Ensure housekeeping in order
Implement appropriate corrective action where necessary
