A leading manufacturer and supplier currently requires the expertise of a Production Manager (Industrial Engineer) to be based in Midrand. Requirements; must have a Degree in Industrial Engineering, 4-5 years’ experience in a managerial role with strong management skills, at least 2 – 3 years’ experience in a production environment and experience working on any ERP system (i.e. Syspro, SAP, JDE, Oracle etc).

Duties include –
• Apply statistical methods to determine manufacturing processes, staff requirements and production outputs
• Review production schedules, supply delivery schedules and customer delivery times in order to ensure production output is on time.
• Coordinate quality control objectives and activities to resolve production problems and maximize product reliability.
• Ensure skills are developed and transferred within the production staff to produce and maintain quality products
