Job Description

Managing, directing and monitoring a team and the performance of subordinates to ensure that critical performance areas and targets are achieved.
Meet established customer specifications concerning quality, cost, cycle time, quantity and delivery.
Consistently ensuring the welfare and safety of all staff within the production area.
Assure appropriate staffing, maintain working environment according to Group health, safety and environment (HSE) standards, detect and advise training needs, share information, participate in career management initiatives, etc.
Prepare (manufacturing) input for the budget and maintain the budget.
Implement action plans in order to improve functionality/ productivity.
Responsible for all production activity reporting and driving overall equipment effectiveness.

Minimum Requirements

Matric
Relevant tertiary qualification pertaining to Production Management
Around 5 years relevant experience within the Manufacturing / Mining / Cement Industry
Valid Drivers licence & own transport
