Production Manager, Manufacturing, Epping Cape Town

Well established manufacturing company is looking for a Production Manager with 3 + years’ experience.

Salary: R35 000.00 CTC
Starting Date: January 2018

Minimum Requirements:
• Grade 12, with relevant Tertiary Qualification.
• 3+ years’ experience as Production Manager
• Technical ability / Understanding
• Working experience in Engineering, print, packaging, plastics or signage industry will be advantageous
• OHS will be advantages


Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee factory staff (Including 4 supervisors)
• Daily planning & managing production activities
• Manage orders with supplier base / stock control
• HR duties to factory staff
• Manage larger stock orders / imports
• Maintain Health & Safety (OHS)
• Make sure the factory is clean, organised factory Layout / Machine Maintenance
• General Production and Operations Administration
• To provide coaching / mentoring where needed to staff
