Permanent skilled level position in the Manufacturing, Production & Trades industry.

Main purpose:
Perform activities in assigned production support projects/areas by ensuring that the required quality standards are met and that assigned tasks are completed successfully at all times.

The successful candidate must be able to perform the following key tasks:
Perform production support analysis & studies (research, design and development of manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly methods and production equipment) for all production lines according to the plant operational priorities; prepare the respective reports in order to ensure proper operation of all production lines.
Prepare and maintain detailed layouts of buildings and equipment.
Participate in the manufacturing launch of new/revised products.
Find cost savings within the product and process.
Conduct the support activities of the shop floor, under the coordination of the Technical Services Manager by following established procedures and approved processes.
Support Production in improving output through time study and continuous improvement.

EDUCATION/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Engineering university qualification
