A Healthcare providing Clinical Care to HIV positive adults, children and adolescents is currently looking for a dynamic and driven Programme Manager: Adult Care and Treatment.

To support the formulation of a technical strategy in alignment with the overall programme and organizational strategy as well as to manage the technical direction relating to Adult Treatment Care and treatment component of our PEPFAR programme.

Education, Training and Experience
• MBBCH or equivalent
• Valid registration with HPCSA
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a management role within the health field
• HIV Management qualification or Post graduate Diploma
• Experience working with donor driven programmes
• Experience in managing HIV infected patients
• Ability to understand and manage a team
• Develop and maintain internal and external relationships.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Proficient in MS Office

Key performance areas
• Assist the Technical Head in the development of a comprehensive strategy around adult HIV care and treatment to supported districts with consideration of national and international guidelines.
• Coordinate and document lesson learning exercises to feed into HSS related programme planning.
• Review, analyse and provide technical and strategic input on project assessments and plans.
• Provide technical input on project assessments and plans to ensure that the strategy of the company and the technical team is achieved.
• Assist in the monitoring and evaluation to evaluate the impact of the programmes
• Ensure operational activities of the Adult HIV/TB technical team meet the requirements of the relevant policies, procedures and protocols.
• In collaboration with the training department, support the development and implementation of training interventions related to Advanced HIV care and management.
• Supervise and manage the duties of team members to ensure optimal staff utilisation and maintenance of sound labour practices.
• Coach and train team members to ensure the acquisition of knowledge and skills required by the organisation.
• Design and implement research activities and write protocols and ethics applications in order to carry out pertinent research.
• Produce publications and/or reports relating to research area.
• Conduct site visits and assessment to evaluate progress on implementation plans.
• Support the programmatic teams in ensuring technical assistance / support to DOH.
