This exciting new role will suit a capable, energetic and experienced individual keen to implement our project/s.

The project manager will ensure professional skills development are provided to entrepreneurs in the Fetola green sector/sustainability projects, and assist in the continual improvement of Fetola’s green sector/sustainability understanding and positioning in the market.

Experience and Training:

We are seeking a degreed candidate with combined qualifications in Business Management / Business Science and Environmental and Geographical Science / Sustainability Studies.
8-10 years’ prior work experience in Project management or similar field
Excellent spoken and written English – public presentation skills would be advantageous
Innovative thinking and strong leadership advantageous
A good understanding of the policy frameworks and relevant institutions & organisations involved in promoting the green economy
Advanced computer skills including MS Office Suite

Roles and responsibilities - duties include but not limited to:

Project Management of Sustainability/ green sector projects
Design and implementation of technical /sustainability components of projects
Support on green sector/sustainability proposal writing,
Green sector/ sustainability information gathering

Proven project management skills, effective written and verbal communications, teamwork and the ability to drive results without close supervision. Candidate should have a passion and skill for solving problems, be meticulous and detail-orientated. Candidate should be self-motivated, open to learning and enthusiastic, culturally sensitive and personable; as well as a keen fast learner, able to prioritise and manage own time. The ability to listen to, understand and follow instructions, and the willingness to be proactive and self-reliant in the solving of problems and completion of tasks is expected.
