The candidate will be responsible for the following functions:
• Support, monitor and evaluate the quality of learning delivery and assessment within the sector;
• Support, monitor and evaluate accredited training providers and approved workplaces to maintain the required standards;
• Provide compliance support f or audits and validations at training provider sites and assessments centres;
• Coordinate, register and maintain databases of practitioners, subject matter experts, Community of
• Expert Practitioners (CEPs), assessors and moderators towards qualifications;
• Ensure the implementation of legal requirements, policies and procedures for quality assurance within the sector;
• Quality assure learner achievements and providers for the certification process;
• Ensure timeous distribution of certificates to providers;
• Support and review the development of occupational qualifications, as per the identified needs and curriculum components, for the sector;
• Coordinate learning materials development for learning programmes within the sector;
• Coordinate the process for qualifications acquisition and registration; and
• Continuously review and develop external assessment tools for approved and registered qualifications for the organization as an Assessment Quality Partner (AQP).

Competency and minimum requirements
The candidate must possess the following:
• A post matric qualification in Administration, Human Resources Development (HRD) Practices or
Business Administration;
• Knowledge of SETAs will be an added advantage;
• Appropriate administrative experience preferably in an education, training and development field, and must be well organised, meticulous and ensure accuracy;
• A valid drivers’ licence;
• Working knowledge of Microsoft packages;
• Knowledge of a quality management system preferably ISO 9001:2008 is essential; and
