QA SYSEMS TECHNICIAN
A vacancy has arisen for a QA Systems Technician within the Quality Department at Ga-Rankuwa. The position will report to the SHEQ Manager.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To ensure Plant complies to all quality systems.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
• Resolve customers complaints
• Drive preventative and corrective action
• Control quarantine stock
• Update FMEA and Control Plans
• To ensure effective team work practices according to
Company requirements and best practices • Host customer audits and visits
• Conduct customer visits
• Conduct product validation and capability studies
• Complete PPAP and ISER
• Conduct process and layered audits
• Safety Critical Testing

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
• BTech Degree in Quality or equivalent
• City and Guilds / Certified Auditor advantageous
• 3 years Process or Manufacturing experience / Automotive /Small component experience or Glass knowledge

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED
• Microsoft Office (intermediate) and MS Access
• Demonstrated knowledge of Quality and Health and Safety systems.
• IR Knowledge (counselling, absenteeism management, discipline, and performance management).
• Report Writing Skills
• Leadership Skills
• Knowledge of Quality Management System requirements in terms of ISO TS16949
• Able to communicate effectively at all levels within the organisation
• Knowledge and experience in Development, implementation and Auditing
• Strong analytical ability
• Able to solve problems and make decisions
