International Manufacturing firm is seeking a Quality Assurance Controller to manage all incoming inspections and supplier stock quality.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

Relevant Bachelor’s degree or technical college qualification (Mechanical Engineering/ Quality Assurance)
Minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience working within a manufacturing environment.
Great knowledge and understanding of quality processes
Ability to work under pressure and think on your feet
Knowledge of welding and steel processes will be advantageous
Knowledge of SAP programs is essential
Knowledge of ISO 9001 / EN 1090 and the application thereof
Microsoft Office Skills is essential

Some Responsibilities (not limited to):
Audit and Assessment:
Give support to Quality Office by performing regular review/audits of current suppliers manufacturing processes and quality systems
Perform regular supplier audits to ensure compliance of products
Implement and monitor the qualification and certification process with selected suppliers
Review and approve supplier quality plans by applying PPAP and APQP standards on new part programs.
Incoming Inspections
Follow up all the purchase orders, making sure that the orders comply with the clients’ technical specifications
Ensure that supplier understands the product and submission requirements
Plan incoming raw material inspection and conduct inspections
Monitor supplier quality performance of suppliers.
