Quality Assurance / Quality Control Officer– Foods

Educational Requirements:
Matric
Relevant Microbiology Degree / Food Industry Qualification

Experience Requirements:
Must have at least 3 years’ practical experience in microbiological analysis
Some experience working in food manufacturing company
Must have working knowledge of HACCP, FSSC, ISO and food safety requirements
Must be computer literate in Word, Excel, Outlook
Must be well spoken and able to communicate effectively
Own Transport

Responsibilities:
Inspecting and testing products at various stages in the production process
Performing tests on materials and/or finished products to measure product performance against set standards
Management of HACCP, FSSC, ISO and food safety requirements
Recording test results in the form logs, graphs or charts
Reporting on test results and analysis
Monitoring performance by collecting relevant information necessary for statistical reports
Updating and maintaining all relevant documentation and control procedures
Ensuring policy and procedures are adhered to
Completing any other tasks associated with quality control
Conducting internal Audits
Supervision of QA Monitors
Ensuring quality is maintained

Additional information:
Salary R10 000 gross per month
CONTRACT Position
Mon – Fri 8am – 5pm
Will also be required to work two Saturday mornings a month
