Mission of the Function:

• The primary responsibility of the Storeman - Raw Materials is to ensure accurate stock management and correct kitting of components. This means that components must be binned correctly and that the right products are picked as per the BOM, and sent to the production line or sub-Contractor on time.

Qualifications: Min:
• Stores Certificate or relevant qualification in stores, Preferred: relevant NDip stores qualifications.
Must have and not negotiable:
• Background in a manufacturing environment, Forklift driver’s license, SAP fast moving products and High volume

Professional Experience: Min:
• 3 yrs relevant work experience within a Stores environment preferred 5 or more yrs relevant work experience within a Stores environment.

Responsibilities: Maintenance of Stock Accuracy/Control
• (binning, kitting, stock shortages or surplus, stock takes, investigation on shortages, Cycle counting), Sub-contractor Administration (Planning & Coordination of kit collection process, Track the progress of the customer orders, out of stocks, shortages and the control of the incoming components)
