Manages the switchboard and provides general administrative support for the office.

Minimum Educational Requirements and Work Experience:
• National Senior Certificate / Grade 12
• 1 year’s reception and administrative experience
• Well-spoken in both English and Afrikaans
• Good IT skills (including Word, Excel, Outlook)

Duties / Responsibilities
• Calls answered courteously and without delay
• Routine matters responded to before reaching the Acting Branch Manager
• Calls and messages distributed to the correct person
• Visitors greeted and announced courteously
• Enquiries from Sales reps and staff responded to courteously and without delay
• Enquiries referred to the appropriate person as necessary
• Delivered stock/supplies checked
• Filing up to date and information accessible
• Couriers organised according to office requirements and tracked from departure to delivery
