Reward Analyst

Location: Sunninghill, JHB
Salary: Market Related/Highly Negotiable

Requirements:
Relevant HR Tertiary Qualification
Experience in Reward Analysis

Duties:
Job Profiling
• Co-ordinate the development of job profiles for general staff
• Ensure that all profiles are stored correctly in the Reward database profile repository
Job Evaluation
• Conduct job evaluation for non-managerial roles
• Manage the job evaluation repository on the Reward database
• Compile a preliminary report of evaluations conducted for the Job Evaluation (JE) Committee
• Coordinate the logistical arrangements for the JE Committee including minute taking and meeting agenda
Salary Benchmarking
• Extract reports from salary surveys
• Prepare reward and benefits data for upload into salary and benefits surveys
• Assist with statistical calculations and data analysis & reporting
• Research market trends and assist with data gathering for adhoc surveys
Salary Review Period
• Update annual timelines in consultation with Payroll
• Prepare and amend increase and bonus schedules for Lines of Service during review period
• Assist with data analysis and reporting salary anomalies within the pay scales
• Research economic indicators and market movements for input into the development of the annual pay scales
• Provide first line support to lines of service for reward related queries
Benefits Administration
• Administer claims for the following benefits: Group Life, Group Income Security, Group Major Medical Expense Scheme
• Act as a liaison between benefit providers and Staff
• Co-ordinate the onsite visits and events (monthly and otherwise) of benefit providers
• Co-ordinate quarterly and/or adhoc update meetings with benefit providers
Adhoc
• Upload Reward philosophy documents onto database
• Assist with reward communication
• Keep abreast with market research and trends
• Assist with logistical arrangements for reward related training
