Requirements:
-Grade 12
- Risk Assessment Diploma / Certificate
- OHSACT Diploma / Certificate
- SABS Environmental Legal Requirements Certificate
- COID Act Diploma / Certificate
- Knowledge of environmental and health hazards within the workplace
- Working knowledge of ISO 14001 & 18001
- Computer literate
- Supervisory skills

Responsibilities:
- Minimize the company and employees risks
- Effective management of the environmental risks and the HSE system
- Ensure total adherence to the Compensation of Occupational Injuries, Diseases Act and
Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Ensure all OHS program audits are conducted
- Maintain accurate records
- Inform management of any non-compliance with the SHE Legislation
- Arrange and chair monthly HSE meetings
- Liaise with the Department of Labour
- Ensure effective waste management
- Manage contract cleaners & security on-site
- Actively participate in the company’s MWD program
