A well-established Clothing Manufacturer is seeking a Senior Account Executive who will lead the Sales & Merchandising department in providing the best possible service to our clients.

The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for achieving profitable sales and service efforts and delivery for the different accounts. This person is also responsible for developing effective customer relationships at all levels and must possess an in-depth knowledge of the clothing manufacturing industry and work with a cross-functional team of associates.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and execute a sales plan to expand business. Monitor and make adjustments to the plan when necessary with a focus on profitability and limiting risk.
• Strategically cultivate all accounts, while penetrating new markets; oversee development and maintain business relationships with customers.
• Account service leadership – Ensure that the product brand is maintaining a high level of service in all functional areas of alignment with the customer’s needs.
• Provides sales & delivery feedback reports pre-, in & post season.
• Develop an intimate knowledge of the products, culture and business processes in order to serve the customer with a focus on quality merchandise.
• Coordinate across multiple areas including Merchandising, Design, Procurement and sample manufacturing.
• Properly communicate and manage all business & product changes with customer account and internal team, while dealing with special customer requests, delivery commitments, conflict resolution and additional service needs.
• Regularly review orders, sales and stock levels, merchandising and markdowns with Account Executives.
• Guide research and competitive analysis; interpret relevant trends and communicate to internal partners, where appropriate.
• Develop strategy to generate profitable new business opportunities and recommend solutions to overcome challenges
• Travel frequently to customer locations to meet with leadership and ensure proper in-store execution; attend trade shows as necessary.
• Train and coach junior team members in selling, negotiating and presentation skills.
• Monitor and evaluate performance of all individuals in the team.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Degree/Diploma in Merchandising or the equivalent
• 10 – 15 years’ experience in Apparel industry with sales experience
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated creativity and ingenuity in developing successful strategies for business development.
• Leadership, interpersonal skills, communication, and presentation skills
• Proficiency in all MS office products (Proficient Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook)
• Ability to bring Innovation and to travel
