RedCat Recruitment is urgently seeking an SENIOR FACTORY MANAGER for a well-established manufacturer of specialised organic based chemicals for the leather tanning and wood adhesive export market. Position based in the Piet Retief area.

JOB DESCRIPTION / REQUIREMENTS

Engineering degree or diploma, preferably Mechanical
Ideally holding GCC-Factories
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, including factory management, is essential
Technical competence to ensure plant availability and optimal efficiency (critical)
Detailed knowledge of steam generation and heavy engineering processes is essential Project experience advantageous
Knowledge of and expertise in respect of OHASA and labour legislation is required
Some diverse, more general management type skills and experience are necessary
Ability to speak conversational Afrikaans and isiZulu is recommended
Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle
Willing and able to relocate to Piet Retief area (near Ermelo) in Mpumalanga
