A Healthcare Company who is passionate about providing Clinical Care to HIV / TB positive adults, children and adolescents is currently looking for a dynamic and driven Senior Management Accountant

To be responsible for timeous, effective and accurate planning, productions of monthly management accounts on the various projects. The key areas of the role includes but not limited to management accounts pack preparation including variance analysis, budgeting , forecasting , preparation of the various funder returns and invoices.

Key performance areas

• Preparation of the management accounting pack for the business i.e. a comprehensive report which includes both financial and non-financial information, ratios and graphs
• Perform and include appropriate relevant analysis on the reasons/causes of variance between actual\budgeted\forecast expenditure
• Reporting of monthly results to Programme Directors, within agreed reporting timetable.
• Effective query resolution of queries raised by the Programme Director and /or Project Managers.
• Monitor and Report on cost saving/containment initiatives.
• Identity, monitor and report any uneconomical acquisition of goods and services, wasteful utilization of the company’s resources and irregular, wasteful and fruitless expenditure.
• Train programme project managers on finance for non-financial people.
• Prepare and present budget and quarterly forecast of the program, project and service departments.
• Preparation of the deferred revenue reconciliation of allocated projects.
• Assisting in completion of the year-end audit by supplying the necessary information and explanation which are required.
• Implementation of dashboard reporting via ZAP.
• Implementation of activity based costing

Education, Training and Experience

• B Com qualification. Preferable CA (SA).
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a management accounting role
• You should be self starter and an Analytical thinker
• Results and deadline driven and be able to work under pressure
• Strong attention to detail
• Good problem solving skills and Good Management skills
• Advanced computer literacy particularly in Excel
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
