PURPOSE
To ensure the best practice design and delivery of integrated human capital solutions with a clear value proposition to the organisation including but not limited to human resources services, administration and professional initiatives and ensuring implementation and compliance to all relevant policies and procedures.

Qualifications/Experience Required:

• Matric
• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Psychology/ Human Resources or an Equivalent NQF level 7 qualification
• A relevant postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage
• 5 – 7 years’ Human Resources experience
• At least 5 years’ experience working at the Middle Management level.
• A proven experience in project and contract management

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

Strategic Management
• Forms an integral part of the team responsible for the development of the Annual Performance Plans
• Responsible for the development of the Human Resources Operational Plan

Financial Management
• Responsible for the Human Resources Budget development and reporting

Contract Management
• Responsible for all contracts and tenders with a bearing on the Human Resource unit.
• Responsible for the development of various terms of reference, contracts and tender specifications that relates to the Human Resource unit.
• Ensure ongoing monitoring and evaluation of service provider’s performance against the TOR that relate to the Unit’s functional areas.
• Ensure proper filing of contracts and tenders documents in line with institutional requirements and standards.

Strategy and Policy Development
• Responsible for the development of HR unit Strategies and Policies


Recruitment and Selection
• Partnering with Hiring Managers and Recruitment to ensure quality placements (bulk, specialist & leadership positions)
• Taking briefs, drafting job specs and designing screening tools, simulation assessments and interview guides to enable effective screening, short-listing and selection.
• Providing feedback and coaching to ensure that all hiring managers have the skills and competencies to recruit, select and on-board new starters effectively.

Skills Development
• Identify training /skills / competency needs within the organization.
• Coordinate career development, succession planning and talent management needs in partnership with line management.
• Submit the skills development plan within the prescribed timeframe.
• Identify skills shortages and where there is need to improve and inform management.

HR Administration
• Development and implementation of a remuneration strategy and process.
• Manage company payroll administration.
• Compile monthly management reports all on all key output areas of the position.

HR Operational Plan & Projects

Induction and On-boarding

HR Reporting
• Compiling, maintaining and analysing HR analytics in order to optimize decision-making
• Facilitating efficient, timeous and accurate HR administration
• Compiling monthly & quarterly reports
• Ensuring that organograms are kept up-to-date

SAP system Management
• System Owner of the SAP system.
• Ensure Compliance of the System with Policy and Legislation.
