RedCat Recruitment is seeking a SENIOR PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR for a national concern – position based in the Greytown area.

The successful candidate will be responsible to oversee the effective utilisation of materials, human resources and equipment with the objective of producing quality products in line with production schedules and meeting customer deadlines in accordance with company standards and objectives.

REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12.
5yrs+ Production Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong computer skills (Email / Internet, MS Word / MS Excel is ESSENTIAL!)
Good understanding of BOM’s and production processes.
Manage the successful implementation of the production schedule and ensure uninterrupted production flow.
Compile weekly and monthly production reports.
Ensure all necessary plant, machinery and equipment is maintained in an operable condition.
Prevent wastage and misuse of equipment, materials and tools.
Plan the plant operations to ensure the maximum utilization of resources (raw materials,
labour).
Setup computerized filling and packing machines for production purposes.
Ensure that all OHS regulations are adhered to.
Investigate incidents (OHS) and identify root causes of non-conformances and correct
deviations.
Maintain a high level of good housekeeping throughout the factory at all time.
Must currently reside in the Greytown area or be willing to relocate.

Salary offered: R17 000-00 per month (including company vehicle, petrol card, tablet, cellphone, pension, medical aid and commission)
