Leading South African online retailer of kids and adult furniture, bedding and décor is seeking a customer SHOWROOM CONSULTANT to head up their newly opened showroom in Kramerville, Sandton. We are seeking an ambitious, on–trend, results-driven go-getter who can work independently. The person should be design conscious, committed, and eager to grow along with the business, with plenty of self-motivation and initiative. The Showroom Consultant needs to be well presented, professional at all times, outgoing, computer savvy, have excellent communication and social marketing skills and have the ability to run and manage a showroom, find leads and place orders in cooperation with the head office team based in Cape Town. The Showroom Consultant will be responsible for walk-in customers and answer emails and telephone calls in a professional manner geared towards conversion.
The Showroom Consultant will be required to get to know the products very well in order to advise and consult with and find prospective customers and clients to successfully increase turnover and meet and exceed targets.

The Showroom will be open Tuesday to Friday and the hours will be from 9am to 5pm and Saturday till 2. The Showroom Consultant will be required to work some weekends during expos as arranged with management.

Experience and skills required:
Must have matric, tertiary qualification would be an added advantage
Experience working in a furniture retail / showroom environment with sales and/or admin
Experience in customer service
E-commerce / Online experience would be an added advantage
Must be proficient in MS office, use of Internet & email software
Must have valid driver’s license and own reliable transport
Excellent communication skills, must be fluent in English
