SNR TRAINING OFFICER, CULLINAN, RNEG
TRADE ELECTRICAL + 5 YEARS MINE ELECTRICIAN EXP + ASSESOR CERTIFICATE + MINE TRAINING EXP OF ARTISANS.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Delivery of Engineering training and quality assurance
• Design, develop and maintain training programmes and assessments
• Control and maintain the administration of training documents
• Coach and guide trainees
• Ensure compliance with MQA and ISO standards
• Stay abreast with the requirements of Section 10 of the Mine Health and Safety Act
• Required to work according to the mine Code of Practice, and report any observations of this not being done
• Ensure personal and co-workers’ adherence and compliance to Security and Company’s SHE objectives

Minimum Requirements:
• Grade 12 / Standard 10
• Electrical trade certificate at a recognized /accredited institution
• 5 Years’ experience as an artisan within a mining environment
• Computer literate
• ETDP (Facilitation) and Assessor Certificate - in the event that the successful candidate/s does not have an ETDP or Assessor
certificate/s they will be required to attain these certificates within 12 months of appointment

Other Skills / Competencies:
• Previous training experience as a trainer will be advantageous
• MQA, SAQA and ISO 9001/2008 knowledge will be advantageous
• Sound verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in English
• Sound planning, leading and organizational abilities
• Facilitation, coaching and mentoring skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of the team
