Job Description Responsible to participate in and provide input into the design, re-design and development of the customer required network. Liaise with Solutions Development and Solutions Planning teams to align the Network plans and architecture with the business / customer requirements, while balancing the minimum resource requirements to maintain Network standards for supportability. Manage the design and implementation of new developments and enhancement efforts. Lead root-cause analyses, communicate options for resolution and provide recommendations to customer-facing technology problems. To continuously through research and industry networking keep themselves and the sales team abreast with latest relevant technology trends and maintain the relevant industry technical certifications Design and manage a Proof of Concept process; Business requirements, responsibilities, Critical success factors and subsequent outcomes Provide input into the design, re-design and development of the customer required solution Manage the design and implementation of new developments and enhancement efforts Manage finances, budgets and assets Generate and maintain documentation and reports Provide high level fulfilment and assurance support/ resolutions Build and manage internal and external customer relationships Obtain required information from key role players Drive implementation of solutions Monitor and measure success Maintain data base and knowledge of competitive analyses Research new products and solutions Ensure vendor required level of certification is maintained to achieve required partner status Assist Operations in forecasting and assessing the technical requirements, resources and certification, to deploy and maintain current and future business Strong relationships with OEM Product Managers and understanding of the product life cycles and road maps Compile, Maintain, Approve and improve all proposed BOM and solutions RFIs / RFPs. Submissions High Level Solution Designs Engineers Low Level Design Implementation strategies Operational efficiencies Develop relationships with the top strategic account CIO/CTO and attend technology planning sessions Assist in Identifying current and future ICT requirements, provide technical and engineering information and assist in presentation of proposed technical solutions Conduct customer current assessments and propose revised solution designs, business case rationales, competitor analyses and potential return on investments Identify potential on going improvements in the customer environment and present proposed recommended solution, architecture and or equipment. Compile Bill of Materials & quotations dependant on customer requirement. Assist in developing the customer's technical staff by providing technical information and training. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending certified training, educational workshops, webinars, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies. Provide product demonstrations, technical presentations and white board sessions for prospective customers, as well as customer install base and internally assist across ARH and the TMT group of companies in order to maximize the sales potential for the group
