Storeman – Manufacturing – Parow, Cape Town

Well Established Manufacturing Company is looking for a Storeman.

Minimum Requirements:
• Matric/Grade 12, with qualification will be an Advantage
• At least 3 years’ experience within a relevant position
• Computer literate
• Must have experience in Factory / Manufacturing / Stores / Warehouse environment
• Able to work independently
• Good communication skills

Responsibilities:
• Receiving of goods
• Stock taking
• General administration
• To ensure that goods received are of the quality and quantity ordered
• To ensure correct stock rotation and that issues are effected on a first in, first out basis
• Ensure smooth and efficient running of the factory
• Maintain a high standard of discipline and adherence to company procedures and required safety standards
• Issue spares and tools from the store to the relevant personnel
• Ensure relevant paper work is completed as required by accounts department
• Perform other tasks within reason as specified by Management
• Ensuring quality and service excellence
• Ensuring good housekeeping of the factory
