A client of ours is looking to hire a Structured Financier in their Real Estate business unit. The ideal candidate must have a strong logical ability, systematic thinking approach, high attention to detail and a problem solver.
The incumbent should enjoy a fast paced, high energy environment. This should be a person with exceptional analytical skills who constantly seeks to improve the process that is followed in order to deliver a higher quality output more efficiently.

Responsibilities
· Capital raising
· Review and analyse financial models
· Structuring of finance and mezzanine
· Negotiate term sheets
· Negotiate agreement funding
· Structure financial products and transactions
· Draft information memorandums
· Setting meetings with potential investors
· Develop models as required to support the new business
· Draft documentation and templates for project finance and structured finance term sheets
· Develop innovative modifications to existing projects and financing structures
as well as lead the development of new structured finance solutions

Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting law, engineering or other quantitative degree in a related field with Higher diploma in tax
· CA(SA) or LLB with masters is desirable
· At least ten years demonstrable experience undertaking successful project finance and structured finance transactions
· Exposure to equity and mezzanine finance
· Experience in the Debt finance market, corporate banking and capital market structured funding
