Supplier Management Officer

Our client is looking for Supplier Managment Officer with 3 or more years experience in Vendor Management or Supply Chain environment and must have SAP experience
· Supplier database administration and reporting – Load supplier information on the database, verify supplier information and compile monthly reports
· BB-BEE – Ensure that relevant supporting documents are submitted by suppliers and compile a list of preferred procurement suppliers.
· Supplier and enterprise development initiatives – Monitor progress of enterprises viability in conjunction with Finance and Technical departments
· Supplier risk assessments – Arrange supplier visits for both overseas and local suppliers and monitor the results of evaluations to ensure that effective communication takes place
· Planning and Purchasing – place purchase orders after receipt of source documents after MRP Run
The candidate must have a grade 12 certificate and a National Diploma or relevant degree (preferably in the Supply Chain or Finance field).3 or more years’ experience in Vendor Management or Supply Chain environment and must also have purchasing and material planning (MRP) experience. The candidate must be computer literate in Microsoft Office Suit (advanced level), and in-depth SAP experience.Report writing skill is a prerequisite.
